Problem(Abstract)
Reporter Designer hangs when trying to save large reports
Symptom
Report Designer hangs and getting java.lang.OutOfMemory errors in one of the default Jrun log file.
Resolving the problem
Increase the amount of java used by the Jrun process by going to localhost:8000 in the browser to correct, log in as admin/admin, click on default, jrun default server, java arguments, go to command line and backup local properties file, then added -Xmx256m to the java argument.
This could also be a java plugin issue, if the error is found in the Java Console and is:
Exception occurred during event dispatching:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
