Question
Is there a way to update the LDAP user information, such as email address and LDAP server URL, from the product to the LDAP server? I tried using user.setUserEmail operation, but it didn't update the user information on the LDAP server.
Answer
No, you may not update any LDAP user's information from InfoSphere Master Data Management Server for Product Information Management to the LDAP server for security reasons. You can only update the LDAP user's information directly from the LDAP server, and this change will be reflected on the product.
