Problem
Attempts to add a script to an IBM Rational Functional Tester scripts does sometimes not resulted in an inserted script.
Symptom
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Open a simplified script.
- Right click another simplified script. Then click Insert as "callScript" .
Not always you see an inserted script. See picture. Script3Classics calls Script3HTML.
Cause
The cause is unknown.
Environment
Rational Functional Tester 8.3 in Simplified Scripting mode.
Resolving The Problem
WORKAROUND
Use Rational Functional Tester in Java mode, if this issue occurs in your environment.
NOTE
The Rational Functional Tester Development Team did not reproduce this issue. Therefore and because an environment for validation is unavailable, this issue cannot be identified as a product defect..
