If a service module includes multiple JAX-WS web service imports, for which the bindings are secured with policy sets, when you update one of the web service import binding properties in the administrative console, the policy sets of the other import bindings are impacted.
After you update a general property of a web service import binding in the administrative console, such as "target end point", you discover that the policy set for another web service import binding has become reset.
The modification of the JAX-WS binding endpoint causes a reinstall of the application endpoint. This action causes a reset of the binding policy. This scenario is currently a design limitation in the JAX-WS binding for WebSphere Process Server.
Resolving the problem
As a workaround, you need to manually change the policy set after changing the endpoint.
