Abstract

The IBM Tivoli Monitoring Service Console may be subject to a cross-site scripting vulnerability through the embedded HTTP server. This might occur when you are logged into the Service Console and during that session navigate to a external malicious web site.

Workaround(s):

There is a workaround provided if you are on an older version of IBM Tivoli Monitoring, or are not able to install the fixes provided above at this time.

- Disable the HTTP Server by appending HTTP_SERVER:N to KDC_TRANSPORT.

Mitigation(s):

Log out of the Service Console session immediately after your task is complete, and do not use the active Service Console browser session to navigate to other web sites.
