Tivoli Storage Manager for Microsoft Sharepoint backup jobs skipped. Clicking on the view detail report it says "There is already a running job for this plan"
Resolving the problem
This condition occurs when there is a previous job that hangs and is in the pending state. Since this job never completes, Tivoli Storage Manager for Microsoft Sharepoint cannot run new backups. To allow new backup jobs to run, the hung job needs to be deleted. In the GUI, go to job monitor and navigate through the pages to find the pending job. The status of the pending job will show as "Running". Once you find this job, click on the checkbox to select the job and click on the delete button.
The pending job is now deleted and will allow new jobs to run.
