Problem(Abstract)
When you upgrade WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit from V7.0.0.2 (Fix Pack 2) or later to V7.0.0.5 (Fix Pack 5), Installation Manager displays the following warning:
Validation of Eclipse installation configuration failed because it references features or bundles in its "platform.xml" file that do not exist.
Symptom
When you upgrade WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit from V7.0.0.2 (Fix Pack 2) or later to V7.0.0.5 (Fix Pack 5), Installation Manager displays the following warning:
Validation of Eclipse installation configuration failed because it references features or bundles in its "platform.xml" file that do not exist.
Bundle not found: "C:\Program Files\SDPShared\plugins\com.ibm.etools.mft.cmp.doc_7.0.100.v20100630_0750"
Bundle not found: "C:\Program Files\SDPShared\plugins\com.ibm.etools.mft.plugin.doc_7.0.100.v20100630_0750"
When the upgrade is complete, the following plugins are missing from the C:\Program Files\SDPShared\plugins directory:
com.ibm.etools.mft.cmp.doc_7.0.100.v20100630_0750
com.ibm.etools.mft.plugin.doc_7.0.100.v20100630_0750
Resolving the problem
To correct this problem and install the missing plugins, complete the following steps:
1. Download the attached .zip file, 7005patch.zip.
2. Extract the contents of the .zip file to your Installation Manager shared directory, for example C:\Program Files\SDPShared.
3. From a command prompt, enter the following command from the <WMBT700> directory to launch the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit:
<WMBT700>\mb.exe -clean
4. When your workspace has opened, click Help > About > Plug-in Details, and
verify that the following plugins are listed:
com.ibm.etools.mft.cmp.doc_7.0.100.v20100630_0750
com.ibm.etools.mft.plugin.doc_7.0.100.v20100630_0750
