IBM Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) version 220.127.116.11 and older are shipped with an IBM Java that is based on the Oracle Java. Oracle has released a June 2012 critical patch updates (CPU) which contain security vulnerability fixes and the IBM Java may be affected.

Version 18.104.22.168 and earlier of IBM Rational Publishing Engine running on Microsoft Windows or Linux operating systems are affected.
Upgrade to Rational Publishing Engine 1.2 or later.
Do not allow other users to log in to your Rational Publishing desktop client.
