Unable to acknowledge a situation that was re-opened
A KFWITM016E message is generated when an attempt is made to acknowledge a situation event after it was re-opened
KFWITM016E is generated and unable to acknowledge situation.
Diagnosing the problem
When a situation is acknowledged and de-acknowledged, and is currently under the Reopened status.
There are two ways to perform an acknowledgement:
1. Quick Acknowledge - this works on this reopened sit
2. Acknowledgement - this is how you can setup a timeout
Whenever the second one attempted on a Reopened event, even though the situation is opened/active, the following error is generated:
KFWITM016E The event is closed and can no longer be acknowledged.
Resolving the problem
Add the parameter below to the TEPS configuration file (Windows - <install
path>\CNPS\KFWENV or UNIX/Linux - <install path>/config/cq.ini)
Restart the TEPS
