Troubleshooting
Problem
Oracle user account getting locked out of database after logging into Decision Management.
Symptom
from the cds.log:
<Oct 4, 2012 1:32:27 PM CDT> <Error> <HTTP> <BEA-101215> <Malformed Request "null". Request parsing failed, Code: -1>
13:32:34,325 ERROR [DataServiceProxy] Error occurs while test DB connection
com.spss.psapi.resource.ServerResourceException: Failed to connect to data source 'CHURN_PROD'
Cause
This occurred in a Weblogic clustered environment. User was doing a forced shutdown on one of the C&DS servers instead of a normal stop of the server.
1) 1:25 pm Weblogic, Force shut down C&DS server.
2) 1:27pm Weblogic: Start up Server
3) 1:28 pm Weblogic: Server in Running Status
4) 1:29 pm Login to Decision Management
5) 1:30 pm In DM: Load Campaign Stream Application
5) 1:30 pm In DM: Campaign is loaded.
6) 1:31 pm Oracle SQL Developer: I logged in with Correct Userid and
Password successfully.
7) 1: 32 pm In DM: On Data Tab, Clicked on the Project Data Source Name.
8) 1:32 pm In DM: On Project Data Source window, I typed in the correct
userid and password.
9) 1:32pm In DM: I get a Yellow Triangle to the right of the submit
button which means I have a error.
10) 1:33 pm Oracle DBA confirms account was locked at 1:32 pm.

Resolving The Problem
Do not do a forced shutdown of the C&DS server. From the Weblogic Admin Console, do a proper Start/Stop.
