Suppression does not suppress all expected rows

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

The user configured 'Suppress Rows Only' in a report containing a crosstab. Zero values, divide by zero, missing values and overflow values are configured for suppression.

Symptom

The report result still contains some rows which contain a zero in each column.

Cause

There is a hidden column with fact cells in the crosstab. The values of this column are not zero for the expected rows.

Resolving the problem

To get a consistent report output, either do not hide this column or remove this column from the crosstab.
