Will FastBack backup a volume that is a junction point on another volume?

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Does FastBack supports taking snapshots of volumes that have junction points on them?

If so, will the E: drive get backed up if it has been mounted on the D: using an NTFS junction point?

Answer

FastBack supports taking snapshots of volumes that have junction points on them.

However, it will only take snapshots of the individual volumes defined in a FastBack Client's Client Group and will not include another volume that has been mounted as a junction point.

In the example scenario, it will only backup the data on the D: drive.
