Interim fix for Domino 8.5.3 Fix Pack 1 (8.5.3.1) for use with Lotus Quickr for Domino 8.5.1 fix pack 34

Overview
The interim fix Quickr_DominoServer_853FP1 is required for Lotus Quickr for Domino 8.5.1 to run on Domino 8.5.3. Support for running Quickr for Domino on version 8.5.3 FP1 of the Domino server is available with Quickr 8.5.1 Fix Pack 34 (8.5.1.34), which was posted 10 December 2012.

This interim fix provides the following changes:

• Additional security to Lotus Quickr for Domino version 8.5.1 Fix Pack 34 being used with Lotus Domino version 8.5.3 FP1 (8.5.3.1).
  Applying this fix and setting a specific parameter provides additional security in Quickr. This fixes SPR# JMPO82GFV8.

• Makes sure ECM integration, List, and Offline functions can work well on Domino 8.5.3 FP1.

Deployment steps

NOTE: Apply this fix only to Domino 8.5.3 Fix Pack 1 (8.5.3.1). The Quickr version must be 8.5.1 Fix Pack 34 or later.

To enable this additional security, first apply the Domino 8.5.3 FP1 interim fix (links below). Then, enable the following settings in the qpconfig.xml file for the Quickr for Domino server:

For Quickr offline functions, unzip the package and copy dolsplugin_win32.xpi and dolcontrol.cab to the directory data\domino\html\download.
