Custom colors disappear from Stereotype's Format... > Comment > Format selected Metaclass... > Fill Color > Other...

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

In IBM Rational Rhapsody, if you add custom colors to a comment, add a stereotype with a "Comment" as the meta-class, and then try to format this meta-class, the custom colors will no longer be visible from the "Fill Color" option.

Symptom

The following steps reproduce the problem:

  1. Create a Project > Model > Diagram

  2. Add a comment to the model from Add New > Annotations > Comments and drag it onto the diagram

  3. Click the Fill Color icon from the toolbar and add, for example, six custom colors of differing hues and luminosity

  4. Save all changes

  5. Add a stereotype

  6. Right click the stereotype and select Format... > Comment > Format selected Metaclass... > Fill Color > Other...

Expected Result: The custom colors added in Step 3 are available
Actual Result: The customer colors added in Step 3 are not available
