Many concurrent large size payloads cause the WebSphere DataPower XC10 REST gateway to fail
Concurrent moderate size payloads may cause the XC10 REST gateway to fail, if the total concurrent data becomes excessive.
After concurrently using the POST operation to insert large sized payloads into the grid, processes will fail. The file system temporary space may be filled and the XC10 processes will be unable to recover.
Diagnosing the problem
When you use the Apache JMeter or a similar tool to enable 10 or more concurrent users to post 16KB of data, this error can occur.
Resolving the problem
As a temporary work around, avoid using the POST operation with many concurrent users. If the XC10 does not recover, a clear-all may be performed to clear the temporary space in the file system. A clear-all will also clear configuration data.
