Problem
How to change Portal Section refreshing time in IBM TRIRIGA
Symptom
The refreshing rate is not consistent with business needs. It's refreshing too often or not refreshing, and that is not desired.
Resolving The Problem
To change the refresh rate go to Tools -> Builder Tools -> Portal Builder
Then locate the Portal that has the Portal Section that you would like to change the refresh rate. Check the box next to it and click on the "Edit" button on the top.
Next locate the report in the Portal Sections Library and edit the report.
A pop up with the properties will appear. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and change the Refresh Time. You can also uncheck Auto Refresh and prevent the page from refreshing at all.
Click Apply, then OK.
This will resolve the issue.
