Problem(Abstract)
The following error might be displayed when browsing to the Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager home page:
"Error! You either did not provide login credentials or your account does not have permission to access the web ui...."
Symptom
Here is a screen capture of the problem:
Cause
The error typically occurs if the browser is configured to block pop-up windows. The Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager login window is a pop-up window; disabling pop-up windows keeps the login window from being displayed.
Resolving the problem
- Log in to the tool.
- In the same browser, allow pop-up windows to be displayed.
- In the same browser, click the Reload button at the end of the error message.
- In the login window, enter your user name and password to start the tool.
