Does a way exist to place a hold on all CADS jobs and avoid jobs running double when CADS is restarted the following day.

Technote (FAQ)

Question

We need to do iSeries maintenance. How can we place a hold on all CADS jobs until the next day.

Answer

Without removing the current schedules the only option that exists is to shut down the CADS server. For daily jobs when restarting CADS server, it will only run the most recent schedule. This will avoid a job running multiple times due to missed schedules during down time.
