"Unable to connect to the remote server" when launching Controller
User launches Controller. Before the 'Database Selection' screen appears, user receives error message.
Depending on the environment, the problem may only affect some (not all) users.
Incorrect/invalid Internet Explorer (IE) settings on 'bad' user's client devices (e.g. their local PC).
- For example, IE configured to use a proxy server which is blocking communication between the client device and the Controller application server
Resolving the problem
Reconfigure client device's Internet Explorer settings to allow unrestricted communication between the client device and the Controller application server's website.
