Problem(Abstract)
After you import an IBM Rational Rose model into IBM Rational Software Architect, the "IRJF0019E Incomplete permission dependency "null" on [Class Name]. Unable to locate supplier [Class Name]" error message appears.
Cause
The Rational Rose model you are attempting to import into Rational Software Architect has unresolved references.
During the migration, Rational Software Architect's Rose Model Importer reports the location of the these unresolved references in the Problems > Errors view.
A documentation defect under APAR PM75946 has been opened to include the IRJF0019E error message in the Information Center under
Updating and migrating > Importing Rational Rose models > Troubleshooting
Resolving the problem
SOLUTIONS
There are two ways to avoid the error message.
- Remove the unresolved relationships listed in the Problems > Errors from within the Rational Rose model and then re-import the model into Rational Software Architect
OR
- Import the Rational Rose model by selecting the Delete unresolved relationships(realization, dependency, etc.) after importing the Rose model option on the Rational Rose Model Import Preferences screen
