Problem(Abstract)
Unable to configure Optical Library with Dell Power Edge R710 in IBM FileNet Image Services. Attempting to configure the devices following the OSAR Cable Tool, but not successful.
Symptom
Errors reported in the elog would be similar to the following:

Diagnosing the problem
In the OSAR Cable Tool, it does not reference any particular system when configuring Windows for Image Services. There are two manufacturers listed in the OSAR Cable Tool for SCSI Host Adapters. It has been discovered that neither one was successful in this configuration with the drivers qualified for Image Services or with a more recent driver from the SCSI Host Adapter vendors.
Resolving the problem
There are two resolutions:
- Use a system other than the Dell Power Edge R710.
- Use a different device for storing documents.
Device Choices are: MSAR, CSAR (EMC - Centera), HSAR (Hitachi - HCAP),
ISAR (IBM - DR550), SSAR (Net Apps - Snaplock)
