Chat messages are not received when working with the Process Portal for IBM Business Process Manager (BPM)

Technote (troubleshooting)


If you are using Process Portal on a mobile device, such as an Apple iPad, you might have issues with receiving chat messages.


If your Process Portal environment has IBM Sametime Connect enabled, although you can start a chat session on your mobile device, other users might not be able to start chat sessions with you.


The latest versions of IBM Sametime Connect do not fully support the use of mobile devices, such as Apple iPads. In particular, pop-up windows are not handled correctly.

Resolving the problem

This problem has no current solution. However, if you switch from the Sametime Connect tab to another tab, and then back again, the missed message displays.
