IPFA error during scenario creation


Technote (FAQ)


Question

Creating a scenario and receiving the following error in the error log."Transform Demand False Arithmetic overflow error converting numeric to data type numeric".The statement has been terminated.

Cause

The error can be due to existence of a demand value greater than

999999999 in the Demand Table of the scenario that is being created.


Answer

Verify and check the values in the Demand Master table in the Data

store, and verify if there exists a value for demand or Forecast error
value that is greater than 999999999.
