Technote (troubleshooting)
Problem(Abstract)
After I install my software and while trying to activate my authorization code, I receive the following warning message:
Authorization failed: You are not allowed to generate any more new licenses.
Cause
License authorizations have been exhausted for the license authorization code provided.
Diagnosing the problem
When running the License Authorization utility to activate my software's authorization (authentication) code I receive one of the following messages:
Authorization in progress ... (you authorization code will display here)
Authorization failed.: You are not allowed to generate any more new licenses.
* * * End Of Transaction. * * *
All permitted authorizations for the provided authorization code(s) have been utilized.
No additional authorizations are permitted on this code. If you think this is an error,
please contact IBM Corp. Customer Service at spssls@us.ibm.com
(http://www.spss.com/custsrv) with your product and purchase details.
Click "Finish" to exit.
