Account is locked error in IBM FileNet Content Services

Technote (troubleshooting)


When attempting to start the Content Services Storage Manager service it fails


The Storage Manager log reports the following:

DBI ERROR -- rc: -1
Native: 28000
SQL State: NA000
SQL Message: [Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle][Oracle]ORA-28000: the account is locked


The Oracle user account is locked, preventing the Storage Manager service from connecting to the Oracle database.

Resolving the problem

Instruct the Oracle DBA to unlock the Content Services Oracle user account for the library.
