Using doors template file with Microsoft Word

Question

Is it possible to edit the document template (doors.dot) file included with IBM Rational DOORS?

Cause

The file open Read only and you can not modify it in order to customize the way Microsoft Word documents are exported to DOORS.

Answer

No, you can not edit he doors.dot file.

It is password protected and modifications to the file are not permitted.

The script contains IBM intellectual property; therefore, IBM does not provide access to it for editing or customization.
