Question

Is it possible to set IBM ECM FileNet P8 Workplace XT (XT) to english by default in Internet Explorer (IE) when the operating system is localised?

Answer

Yes it is possible.

1. Open the IE and goto Tools\Options

2. Click on the language button and add English from the list. It can be US, UK or Ireland. All will have the same effect.

3. Move it to the top of the list and click OK.

4. Restart the IE browser. XT will not appear as english by default.

Note: If you goto another French site, it will also appear as english as your language is now set to english in the browser. You would need to set it back to the localised language to get the language you desire.
