How To Customize Infosphere Business Glossary Browser Logo and Text

The logo and text are customized using the following steps:

Version 8.5
1) Login to the Infophere Server Web Console
2) Select the Business Glossary tab
3) Select Edit Settings option under the Glossary Settings section
4) Change the Welcome Text and Image URL fields as desired

Note on logo image file location:
The image file must reside on an active web server. It does not matter what the location is as long as the URL is acceptable .

5) Save and Close

Version 8.7
1) Login to the Infosphere Server Business Glossary web console
2) Select the Administration tab
3) Select the General Settings option under Setup section
4) Change the Welcome Text and Image URL fields as desired

Note on logo image file location:
The image file must reside on an active web server. It does not matter what the location is as long as the URL is acceptable .

5) Save and Close

After making changes in the Infosphere Business Glossary settings the changes should propagate to Infosphere Business Glossary Browser. If the changes are not reflected in Infosphere Business Glossary Browser do the following:
1) clear all web browser cache and cookies,
2) logout of Business Glossary Browser, and log in again.
