Question
On Mac OS X 10.8, when you download Symphony 3.0.1 Mac install package from Symphony website and attempt to install it, you may receive the following message:

This error is caused by the new security feature Gatekeeper in Mac OS X 10.8, which only allows applications that are downloaded directly from Apple store to launch. You can refer to the following article on Apple's website for details on how Gatekeeper works,

For workaround installation options for Symphony 3.0.1, please refer to:

This workaround is also acceptable for other Mac OS versions which have Gatekeeper installed.
