Problem(Abstract)
While installing Content Services 5.5 HFP1 admin tool DsSatSch.dll fails to register at the end of installtion.
Symptom
Scheduling feature for bulk process and bulk modify does not work.
Cause
The DsSatSch dll looks for a dependency dll in IDM installation directory.
Resolving the problem
The problem can be resolved in two ways.
1. Place the required dependency dll in IDM installation directory prior to CS Admin tool installation.
a. Uninstall the CS Admin tool
b. Copy the atl.dll from system directory to IDM installation directory.
Note: For 64 bit platforms system directory is <Windows Installation Drive>:\Windows\SysWOW64 whereas for 32 bit platforms it is <Windows Installation Drive>:\Windows\System32
c. Install CS Admin tool
2. Or register the atl.dll present in system directory, following to which DsSatSch.dll can be registered.
a. Open administrative command prompt
b. Register the atl.dll present in system directory by running the command regsvr32 <system directory>\atl.dll
c. Register the DsSatSch.dll present in CS Admin tool installation directory by running the command regsvr32 <CS Admin tool installation dir>\DsSatSch.dll
