Delivering change set results in CRJAZ0099I error

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempts to deliver a change set results in a timeout error with IBM Rational Team Concert.

Symptom

The following exception is logged from within the client interface:

!MESSAGE Could not initialize component sync context
!STACK 0 com.ibm.team.repository.common.transport.TeamServiceException: CRJAZ0099I When accessing the URL "<URL>"
at com.ibm.team.repository.transport.client.ClientHttpUtil.executePrimitiveRequest(ClientHttpUtil.java:1212)

Caused by: java.net.SocketTimeoutException
at sun.nio.ch.SocketAdaptor$SocketInputStream.read(SocketAdaptor.java:250)
at sun.nio.ch.ChannelInputStream.read(ChannelInputStream.java:103)

NOTE: There are no errors or exceptions logged on the server

Cause

The repository connection times out before the deliver operation can complete

Resolving The Problem

To resolve this error, the repository timeout from within the client should be increased.

  1. Navigate to the Team artifacts view

  2. Right click the repository connection and select properties

  3. Select Jazz Repository Connections

  4. Under Advanced, increase the Connection Time out setting


  5. Click OK
