Abstract

Content Manager OnDemand for Multiplatforms V8.5.0.6 has identified and fixed memory leaks which may impact customers using previous 8.5 versions and have also added performance enhancements to the product.

Content

Customers running versions of Content Manager OnDemand V8.5 prior to V8.5.0.6 are encouraged to upgrade.

Identified memory leaks

Performance enhancements

Platform Description
Multiplatforms TSM connection pooling
arsmaint -v performance enhancement
Unload performance from cache enhancement
AIX Only Increased executable page size to 64kb pages from 4kb pages
External commands are now processed via a helper thread to increase performance on systems with large memory footprints
