Problem(Abstract)
When a user runs a Tivoli Monitoring for Tivoli Storage Manager Cognos report from Tivoli Common Reporting the following message is displayed:
com.cognos.accman.jcam.crypto.CAMCryptoException : CAM-CRP-1346 Failed to get the HMAC value to verify the package capability trust token.
Invalid digest of the common symmetric key.
Unable to find an appropriate common symmetric key to decrypt the data.
Symptom
PRS-CSE-1258 - Problem encountered during verification of session capability information com.cognos.accman.jcam.crypto.CAMCryptoException : CAM-CRP-1346 Failed to get the HMAC value to verify the package capability trust token. Invalid digest of the common symmetric key. Unable to find an appropriate common symmetric key to decrypt the data.
Cause
This message can be displayed if a user used the same browser session to log into another Administration Center to access the Cognos reports. The message can also be displayed if there are invalid encryption keys for a multi-server installation.
Environment
Administration Center 6.3.x with the Tivoli Common Reporting component installed.
Resolving the problem
To resolve the problem, log out of Administration Center and log back in. You can also use a new internet browser to establish a new connection to the Administration Center.
