Problem(Abstract)
After installing IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0 and IBM HTTP Server, when the installation of IBM Content Analytics 3.0 is attempted, the installer fails complaining that it cannot recognize the web server specified.
Cause
The installation procedure of IBM WebSphere Application Server has changed from older versions
Resolving the problem
After the installation of the HTTP Server, go back to the IBM WebSphere Application Server and setup a profile. After that invoke the plugin configuration tool and create a plugin. Then go the servers section in the IBM WebSphere Application Server and verify that the name of the web server is seen. Now the system is ready for installation of IBM Content Analytics.
