AFFECTED PLATFORMS:

Version 8.0.1.3 and earlier of Rational Business Developer are affected.

REMEDIATION:

The recommended solution is to apply the fix for Rational Business Developer as soon as practical. Please see below the information on the fixes available.

FIX:

Download and install V8.0.1.4 or later from the IBM Rational Business Developer website to replace any affected version or release, then redeploy all applications that contain web services to update the web service runtime. Services written in EGL do not need to be modified or regenerated.

WORKAROUND:

None known; replace your current affected version with V8.0.1.4 or later, which contains a fix.

MITIGATION:

Do not deploy any web services until you upgrade to V8.0.1.4 or later.
