Abstract
Customers running IBM Rational Requirements Composer version 4.0 are advised to contact IBM Support to obtain a patch for v4.0 or upgrade to fix pack 4.0.0.1 to prevent a potential invalid server state that prevents access to projects.
Content
Users might encounter a problem where they no longer have access to view/update artifacts in Requirements Composer until the system is restarted. The problem can manifest in a number of different ways, as described in the Symptoms and Work Items below. The defects have been resolved in the 4.0.0.1 release, and a patch is available for the 4.0 release which can be obtained by contacting IBM Rational Support.
NOTE: If the problem is not resolved after restarting the server please contact Support for information on how to identify and repair the type system.
