Question

Upgraded to Gentran Server for iSeries 3.6 Release and now inbound or outbound translation receives an MCH1202 error message which is causing a production down situation

Cause

GSi 3.6 Release Standards Element definition sizes changed

Answer

Execute the Standard Table Extract command. EXTSTD from command line, or option 30-Std Table Extract from Work with Standards, key entry line to rebuild your batch standards file with the updated standard definitions.
