Problem(Abstract)
Clicking the Application Start in an IBM Rational Robot HTML log result in a malformed application path.
Symptom
EXAMPLE
You observe:
Additional Information Started the Application: C:Windows otepad.exe
You expected:
Additional Information Started the Application: C:\Windows\Notepad.exe
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Double click on a log.xml.
- Click on link Application Start.
Cause
While Rational Robot converts a variable from XML to Java script through XSL file, the backslash is treated as escape character.
Resolving the problem
Contact IBM Rational Client Support to obtain a test fix.
