Abstract
A recent Flash from the IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) product team documents a potential security exposure with certain versions of WAS 7 and WAS 8.
Content
IBM Rational Team Concert and other Rational products bundle/use IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) as their application server. Please refer to the WAS Flash for more detail on this potential exposure and actions that should be taken if you are using an affected version of WAS in your environment with Rational products.
Refer to technote 1609501 for information specific to IBM Rational ClearCase and IBM Rational ClearQuest.
You can use the "versionInfo" command to determine the installed version of WAS. It is located in the "bin" directory of the application server root folder.
