Question

Why does the example for the Load function to load a JavaScript library into your JavaScript policy in the Netcool/Impact 6.1 documentation not work?

Cause

The example in the Policy Reference Guide in the Netcool/Impact 6.1 documentation is incorrect.

Answer

The library MyLibrary needs to be enclosed in quotes since it is not a variable.

Incorrect:
You can load the MyLibrary policy into another JavaScript policy, and call its myfunc function using the following code:
Load(MyLibrary);
myfunc();

Correct:
You can load the MyLibrary policy into another JavaScript policy, and call its myfunc function using the following code:
Load("MyLibrary");
myfunc();

This error will be updated in the next release of the Netcool/Impact information center.
