Question
How have BAR files changed in WebSphere Message Broker V8.0.0.1?
Answer
A feature was added in WebSphere Message Broker 8.0 Fix Pack 1 that allows you to deploy your message flows as .msgflow files.
This means that you can add message flows to broker archive (BAR) files as .msgflow files and deploy those BAR files without compiling the message flows into .cmf files, and can view a message flow source file directly from the BAR file.
It is also possible to choose the previous "compiled" format for your BAR files, but you must not combine .cmf files and .msgflow files within the same BAR file.
