There is a workaround for the IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) online help 403 error that appears after deleting WebSphere Application Server (WAS) temp and wstemp folders.
The error is caused by deleting the temp and wstemp folders on WAS server.
Resolving the problem
RQM help is written to temp directory (or directories) so that it can be updated again as needed.
If you have deleted those directories, follow one of these options to resolve the issue:
- 1) Downloading and installing help content on a machine without an Internet connection
- 2) Downloading and installing help content on a computer without an Internet connection (Configuring help content in the Eclipse client)
If you have a requirement to remove the temp folders, you may file a new enhancement request on jazz.net.
