How to set a static host and port in all URL links in Maximo

Troubleshooting

Problem

Unaware of how to set a static host and port in url in Maximo

Resolving The Problem

If a customer needs to have the URLs that are used to make requests back into the Maximo server have a specific protocol, host and/or port, the following system properties can be set to make this happen.

maximo_extended_host - This system property sets the host name that will be used to create ALL links and http requests back into the Maximo server from the web client.
maximo_extended_host_protocol - This system property sets the protocol that will be used. For example, normal values for this include http and https.
maximo_extended_host_port - This system property sets the port that will be used. For example, this could be set to 7001 or 9080. If this value is not set, then no port will be included.
