Compiling a deeply nested struct generated from Rational System Tester fails with error C1046

Problem(Abstract)

Attempts to compile a code of deeply nested struct generated using IBM Rational System Tester for Testing and Test Control Notation (TTCN) results in fatal error C1046.

Symptom

When you compile a piece of codes, generated from Rational System Tester, that include a deeply nested struct, it fails with the following error message.

fatal error C1046: compiler limit: struct nested too deeply.

Cause

This issue is identified as a product defect and has been logged as APAR PM71079.

Resolving the problem

There is no workaround available.
