Question

How do you identify and remove wrong <> stereotypes from ports in IBM Rational Rhapsody?

Cause

You have <<interface>> stereotypes assigned to ports in your Rational Rhapsody project which cannot be otherwise assigned by regular modeling.

Answer

Steps to identify and remove the <<interface>> stereotypes assigned to ports:

  1. Ensure that all the references to this stereotype are read/write
    (Use Ctrl-R to get the references to the Stereotype).

  2. Select the <<interface>> Stereotype in the Browser

  3. Run either of the attached scripts (Visual Basic (VBA) / Javascript).

  4. Delete the Stereotype from the model.
