Question

Conditions used by Route Shipment agent to consolidate shipment to an existing load or include in new load.

Answer

Application checks for expected and must ship before dates of both

the load and the shipment, along with the requested carrier service
code provided in each of the shipments.

If the below conditions are met, the shipment being consolidated will NOT be added to existing load and a new load will be created for the shipment.

1. Requested carrier service code of the shipment being consolidated is NOT same as the existing shipment(s) of the load.
2. Expected shipment date of shipment > must ship before date of the load.
3. OR Expected departure date of load > must ship before date of shipment.
