IBM Session Manager for z/OS (ISM) V2.1 was withdrawn from support 30 September 2013. This document contains a link to the End of Service (EOS) announcement letter and product replacement information.
The Software service discontinuance announcement letter (EOS letter) indicating that ISM V2.1 was withdrawn from support 30 September 2013 is 912-144. The following product replacement information is included in this announcement:
5697-N61, IBM Session Manager for z/OS , V2.1 is replaced by 5655-U98, IBM Session Manager for z/OS , V3.1, announced in Software Announcement 211-024, dated February 22, 2011.

IBM can offer a fee based service extension for ISM V2.1 if you need more time to upgrade. A service extension entitles you to continue to receive the level of support that you receive today using the same channels into IBM, including raising PMRs and APARs.
