Question
How do you report on Rational Team Concert (RTC) custom enumerations in Rational Publishing Engine (RPE)?
Cause
The href passed by RTC to RPE to establish the value of a custom enumeration is from the Open Services For Lifecycle Collaboration Application Programming Interface (OSLC API).
Currently, RPE cannot resolve this reference.
Answer
In the RPE template, a condition can be created which compares the enumeration's internal literal value at the workitem level (workitem/workItem/allExtensions/smallStringValue) to the value defined by the user for the custom enumeration at the project level (workitem/projectArea/enumerations/literals/id).
- In RTC 2011, use
smallStringValue. - In RTC 2012, use
mediumStringValue.
