This technote lists the operating systems and platforms that are supported for
the target computers for the product version 7.2.1 Interim Fix 2.
Notes:
- For 64-bit environments, the common agent was tested in 32-bit emulation.
- (Windows only) Software provisioning consists of the following processes: extract, extract and install, install, and custom extract and install. The supported archive is zip.
(UNIX only) Software provisioning consists of the following processes: extract, extract and install, and custom extract and install. The supported archives are: tar, bzip, gzip, compressed tar, and zip.
Supported Windows operating systems and platforms
Note: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 are currently supported with Tivoli Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment version 7.1.1.7.
