Problem
You have a system dump from a CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) V4.2 region. You try to format the CICS internal trace with VERBX DFHPD670 'TR'. You receive error message DFHPD0101 Pointer to TRBLOCK at offset 0020 is invalid.
Symptom
DFHPD0101 Pointer to TRBLOCK at offset 0020 is invalid.
Cause
The CICS trace table resides in 64-bit storage. This storage was not included in the dump by z/OS.
Resolving The Problem
Apply the PTF for APAR OA40015 that corresponds to your release of z/OS.
